Thank You For An Incredible Year
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As the school year comes to a close, I again wanted to express my appreciation for your patience and flexibility this year. The District needed to adapt several times this year due to changes with the virus, and you proved to be open and flexible partners. It’s been impressive. District 109 was one of the pioneers of “Test to Stay” and received national recognition for its role in launching that program for the entire nation. We could not have done it without a great deal of support from families. Thank you. District 109 parents and guardians are also curious and questioning. That has been a help to us as well and caused us to consider and then reconsider plans and actions. I’m sure there were struggles given a number of unknowns throughout the year, but again my impression was that the foremost goal was to help the district keep our kids safe and in school. Together, we managed to have a successful school year. I am deeply grateful and appreciative for your assistance in helping us as we serve your students.
