High Expectations
As a school community that values the word "Excellence," we continuously strive to do better each and every day. As your Principal this means holding myself, our staff, and our students to High Expectations. I understand that I have to continuously learn and refine my work in order to do better than I did the day before. Parents and families can be a critical part to keeping us on this path to excellence. Please continue to ask the critical questions and provide us the input we need to get better. Some of the most effective ways to get a hold of teachers and administrators is to call or email us. Attending school events like the Parent Teacher Association Meetings is another way to see us face to face. The next PTA meeting is March 19th at 6pm here at Francis Parker, we hope to see you there.

How Can We Help You?
Student Drop-Off & Pick-Up
- All student who arrive to school after the arrival window (7:30am-7:45am) must be accompanied by an adult into the school building at Door 1 (Main Office) and signed into school.
- Any student who is picked up late from school after the 3pm dismissal time must be picked up in the Main Office and signed out by an adult.
Please note that students are marked late/tardy after 7:45am. It is vital that every student arrives to school everyday, on-time in order to ensure they receive all of their academic learning time.
Please note that dismissal is at 3pm, students should be picked up by this time. If we are anticipating a student to be picked up, it should be by 3pm. Students who ride a bus and who are not picked up by 3pm may be put on their bus at dismissal time. If you are planning to pick a student up from school, please be sure the Main Office is made aware no later than 2:30pm.
If an issue arises and you are not able to come pick a student up by 3pm, please notify the Main Office so other arrangements can be made.
We thank you for your cooperation with these procedures!
School Climate Survey
As part of the New York State Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) plan, students, teachers, non-teaching staff and parents are being asked to take part in School Climate Surveys. Rochester City School District is once again piloting this initiative in the 2018-2019 school year. The survey is scheduled to be administered from February 25th through April 5th. The survey is web-based and RCSD has developed a means to administer the survey to every school, collect survey responses and report back on all the data we gathered throughout the entire district. Parents, we are asking that you please take some time to complete this survey found at the link below. Thank you!!
