Happy Friday and Memorial Day Weekend.

This was a very fun and exciting week for our students. They enjoyed field day. The 5th grade team had a successful night of Exhibition. The final diagnostic for iReady was collected and it shows HUGE growth for our students!!! Students will be awarded with 10 minutes of extra recess time!

We are so proud of them!

This is Memorial Day Weekend. While we look forward to Memorial Day because it is a day off, but let's not forget why we celebrate this honorable day. Ask your kids what the purpose of this day is. Make it personal by having them reflect on what they get to enjoy, due to the sacrifices made. Let's teach our kids not to be entitled, but to be appreciative and grateful for the things we are able to enjoy daily. Below is a poem to help guide your conversation, if needed.

• 5/31- Awards (1-5th) and BMX assembly
• 6/1- Awards Assembly (TK/K)
• 6/2- Last day of school/Minimum Day (school is out at 12:40PM)
