KUDOS!!
- To Greg Brown and his music boosters and students for hosting an incredible CMEA Jazz event here on campus this weekend! Over 30 schools attended and competed, and our own former VP Jon Fey made a cameo as an adjudicator. Great job!
- To Shirley McLelland for once again making the SS change a painless and seamless one, with the help of Carol Gross, in getting our students rescheduled as efficiently and intentionally as possible! Additionally, come up to the office to check out the new Mentor of the Month display, where we are now honoring outstanding mentors for their dedication and selfless assistance to students. Thank you Shirley!
- Kourtnie Howerton and our dance and spirit programs for putting on an excellent dance concert!
- To all of the front office staff, but Teresa and Lyndee in particular, for taking on two jobs to fill the void left behind by Maggie leaving the site. We will have another front office secretary in place by next Friday, but until then, the entire front office staff have stepped up and done the work needed to keep the sailing smooth. We are so lucky to have versatile, dedicated and outstanding office staff!
- To Tucker Farrar, for being selected as our new Dean of Students! (and for slaying his first week in the role!) The classroom is going to miss you, Tucker, but our students are lucky to have you in this role as well!
Tucker is the new Dean!
Winter dance showcase!
Mads, Belles and Cantiamo sing the national anthem at the Globetrotters game!
CHAPERONE NEEDED- for DEBATE TEAM!
We have a debate team again, who are ready to compete in their first state event! Unfortunately, their advisor is unavailable to go with them, and they are scrambling to find a chaperone who is credentialed with the district.
The trip is Feb 9-11 in Palo Alto. Hotel is paid for. The responsibilities, outside of the 3-4 kids attending, include judging a debate session.
Please let Danielle Crider know ASAP if you are interested in helping out! criderd@mdusd.org
