Cheers To All!
December 2016

BTW, YA books are told through the point of view of a young adult and span many different genres.
For Kate DiCamillo fans
Raymie makes a plan to win the baton competition to get her father to come back home. This book is about friendship, compassion and lots more.
A graphic novel memoir
I love this book so much. It was Dale St's all school read last summer.
This one is at the top of many 2016 Best Lists
I'm still waiting to get this off the waiting list at my public library. It's supposed to be amazing.
Companion novel to When the Mountain Meets the Moon
Beautifully written story by Grace Lin.
A 2016 Global Read Aloud pick for middle grades
A boy is so desperate to find Pax, the pet fox he was forced to abandon, that he leaves home to find him. A classic in the making.
About a girl who has hidden her struggles to read until a new teacher arrives.
What have you been reading or plan on reading? Please add any titles to this padlet.
Happy Holidays Everyone!
This pic is from Sonja Schultz, a librarian in Texas. Pretty awesome!
