Kohinoor Diamond
ohhh... shiny
What was it?
The Kohinoor Diamond is a large, clear diamond. It was found in 1306 in Golconda, India. The king of India gave it to England. India was conquered by England so the leader of India surrendered the diamond to England.
Golconda fort
This is the Golconda fort, the original holding place of the diamond.
Kohinoor Diamond
the picture here is a glass replica of the diamond before it was cut in 1788 .
The crown
This is where the diamond is now held,in the crown of Queen Victoria in the Museum on England (the tower of England).
MY OPINION
Who should have the Diamond?
The ruler of India gave it to England , so I think it should stay in England because the queen of England's crown has the diamond in it, therefore saying it is important to England
