Tyngsborough Elementary School

August 14, 2019

Dear TES Families,

Welcome to Tyngsborough Elementary School! We are looking forward to another great year. This will be the first of many informative “email blasts” that families will receive throughout the year.

Our goal here at Tyngsborough Elementary School is simple: we strive to create a dynamic learning environment where our students can learn and grow. At TES, we will show our care and commitment for our students through our expectations of them. We expect students to work hard and learn. We expect them to respect one another. We expect our students to do their best. We expect and encourage parents to be equal partners in their children’s learning. We hold ourselves to these same high standards.

Our doors are always open for questions, comments, discussion, or feedback. It is very important for you to know what and how your child is learning. We want you and every staff member to be proud of the great things that are happening here at TES. Because you may have questions about the start of the school year, the following information is provided for your assistance.

Kerry Cavanaugh, Principal Preschool - Grade 5

Student Information Form

Recently, an email was sent in regards to completing the Student Information Form. The information form, accessible through the parent portal, is used to collect items such as family information, emergency contact data, and medical permissions. It is crucial that you complete this form as soon as possible. Failure to submit this form will affect your student’s ability to attend field trips, participate in after-school activities, and receive medications from the school nurse.

Bus Routes

Dee Bus Company will be finalizing the preliminary bus routes for the 2019-2020 school year this week. The routes are posted on our website.

Whitsons Food Service

Lunch can be purchased for $3.00.

We are looking forward to a great year. I know I treat these 800+ students as if they are my own and would do anything to make sure they are safe, happy and leave our building with a solid foundation!
