What is Skitch?
Skitch is an app that allows you to take a photograph or a screenshot and write directly on it. You can use arrows, shapes and text annotation.

Skitch is so easy to use and can be used in a variety of ways in your classroom! Use a Skitch to draw attention to something, say something with fewer words, and move your projects forward!

Skitch App Activity #1
- Open the Google Earth and type in the address for your school.
- Take a screenshot of the map. This will be sent to Photos.
- Open the Skitch app. If you have not opened Skitch before it will ask to access your Calendar (Don’t Allow) and to access your Photos > Allow.
- If you do not see your Photos, go to Settings >Privacy >Photos and allow Skitch to access your photos
- Select the map photo of your school. It will open in Skitch app
- You will see two tools on the screen. Tap the pinkish circle on the left to change color and size. Tap the arrow on the right to select different tools.
- Select a color for your map labels
- Use the arrow tool and text tool to label your map
- Tap the share icon in the upper right corner. You can choose Share to Share with Caption.
- Choose Save Image to send to Photos or email your map.
Upload the picture of your school to your Seesaw iPad Cohort Class.
