EPACC News
Something is always happening at YOUR Community Center!
Thank You For A Great First Year!
New Life, New Dreams
Without you, there wouldn't be a point to any of this, would there? YOU are the reason we're here. So thank you for believing and for joining us in the effort to find things that unite us rather than divide us.
PATH LIFE SKILLS: PATH continues to meet bi-weekly to support and empower women.
POWER PACKS continues to serve four Hempfield schools!
YEAR-END CHARITABLE GIVING is still possible through the East Petersburg Faith Outreach. Increased activity means increased costs: our utilities cost are up by over $300/month from this time last year. Checks can be written to the EPFO Box 581 East Petersburg, PA or donations made on our Facebook page, www.eastpetecc.org or the EPFO website: http://www.epoureach.org. THANK YOU!
Geneva Bakery Cafe: A Great Place To Meet!
Pop-up dinners have provided tasty meals with styles ranging from middle-eastern to Indian and Liberian. Open mics have brought some good crowds as local musicians get the chance to sing or play in a warm, inviting space.
And just last week, the cafe's 2nd Annual Polar Express Reading was a HUGE hit, with over 100 people enjoying two readings of the classic book, narrated by Ellie Hoolie.
Look for many more community events, open mics, concerts and more in 2017 at the Cafe!

EPACC To Host "72"
"We continue to try help meet needs and encourage folks at EPACC in a variety of ways--from the Power Packs food program to Homework Help and partnering with all sort of service organizations," says EPACC founder Kent Rice. "And it will always be a place where no one is TOLD what to believe or not believe spiritually. '72' is just another way we feel like we can help--by lifting up Christ in our broken community, there can be healing and bridge-building."
Even if "72" catches on and becomes a regular event, the plan is not for it to become a church or "replace" anyone's current worship. "Our hope would be that '72' can give folks throughout the community a chance to be in fellowship with others and to worship 'in the Spirit and in truth'...to be themselves before the Lord and to see what happens!"
