Gestures

Gestures are one of the earliest forms of nonverbal communication. The appropriate use of hand gestures gives a speaker confidence and allows him/herself to express his/her emotions effectively and clearly. Gestures also get listeners' attention and help the speaker describe and elaborate on their topic.

Body Language

Body language is another one of the earliest forms of nonverbal communication. Sometimes body language can send signals stronger than words. Body language is controlled by your subconscious mind, the listener can actually understand if there’s a difference in what you are saying and thinking.
