This last week we were able to start our on-site support services! The feedback that we received was positive. There are some adjustments we are making based on some of the parent and student feedback. You will recognize some of the adjustments in the sign ups.

K-5 Onsite Support Sign Up

We will be shifting the sign up process after this week to our website. We will send reminders to the families but the sign up links will be on our Distance Learning Academy website.

We will be offering onsite support on Monday and Wednesday this week. To see and select your time slot click HERE. If the time slots do not work for your family, please contact your teacher to discuss other options.

You all did awesome with social distancing, hand washing, and mask wearing. Thank you

Building Relationships and Partnerships

We know that we are better together. Thank you for communicating with our staff during the week. There are multiple ways to communicate with our staff. All of our mobile phone numbers and emails are located on the website. We post our mobile phones intentionally because some our our students and families prefer text message rather than emails. We can also set up a Google Meet or use the Edmentum and or Calvert platform for communicating as well.

Grade 9-12 Schedules

We apologize for the tardiness is completing all the student schedules. All students schedules are complete. If you believe your schedule needs to be modified, please contact Shelly Vixayvong at 651-350-8711 or via emal at svixayvong@isd138.org
.

Some of our seniors are now seeing a class called Student Service/Community Service elective class. You will also recognize that I am the teacher of the class. I will be sending additional information regarding the class early next week. Instead of giving a 5th elective class, I want to offer the opportunity to participate in this course. More information to come. If you do not want to participate, we can still place you in an elective of your choosing. We will adjust the course calendar for the late start.

Fall Assessments

In the coming week, we will be sending our our Fall assessment calendar. The news is that our Math and Reading Fast Assessments can be done at home! We will be sending our Google Meet invitations to you soon with directions.

There is one assessment that needs to be completed onsite for our students in Kindergarten and First grade. Mrs. Izzo will be communicating with you on how this will be done. We also are sensitive to families who are not able to come onsite. For this, this assessment is not required but optional. Again more information to come.

Thank you and Make it a Great Week!!
