MVLA Social Studies Class from a student point of view
In social studies, we have been working on our projects for the National History Day Competition. The topic this year is frontiers and we have been watching videos on how to improve our presentations to have them more concise. Other than that we have been learning how to take notes so that we can identify the keywords better when we are reviewing them.
October My Times
Culinary Fun
Pickleball lessons
Refinishing Furniture
LOST AND FOUND ITEMS
Water bottles
Hoodies
Do you recognize them?
PTO and SAC
Our last PTO meeting was on October 27th. Please be on the lookout for the date of our November meeting as it is TBD.
Below is the schedule for the District Advisory Council Meetings.
Cell Phone Policies (Please continue to remind your student.)
If your child does not feel well, please tell them they need to come see the nurse and she will contact you if they need to be picked up. Students should not be calling or texting parents during the day unless it is from the office with an adult present.
Cell phones can be a huge distraction at school and we need your help to address this very real problem.
