BETTER TOGETHER

Dear Wiggin Street Families,

Thank you to all that joined us for the Fun Festival. As you can see by the pictures, it was a great hit, and it's always nice to see families come together. We appreciate all of the volunteers that helped make the event possible. Without their help, this event would not be possible. We hope you enjoy some of the pictures taken by Katie J and some of our staff. Also, there are a lot of people that go above and beyond to do amazing things to organize, donate, and set up/clean up. You know who you are, and it is greatly appreciated!

This week we celebrated Arbor Day at the Community Center park. The students helped plant trees and Knox Soil and Water donated 225 trees to be passed out to students. We were also joined by Mayor Kessler for a proclamation.

Lastly, today was Kindergarten Registration, and we enjoyed meeting some of the 2023-24 Kindergarteners. They were brimming with excitement to become a "Wiggin Street Kid".

Have a wonderful weekend!

Best wishes,

Christy Grandstaff

Students made pillows to go along with their fairytale unit, Emperor's New Clothes. They also shared books that they wrote based on the series If You Give a Mouse a Cookie by Laura Numeroff with the Kindergarteners.

Teacher Appreciation Week: May 8-12th

We are grateful for the wonderful teachers and staff that work with your students each day. May 8-12th is Teacher Appreciation Week. It's always appreciated if students show their appreciation with a simple thank you, card, or drawing. Those things fill our teachers' buckets as they round out the school year.
