Gala Class Wine Cellar Collections
Thank you to all our families who donated wine for our gala class wine collections! We have amazing cellars in the works which we can't wait for you to bid on at our upcoming event. If you have not yet had the opportunity to bring in a bottle, please ask reception or contact April to make other arrangements for dropping off your donation. Thanks for your contributions.
FIRST LEGO League Award!!!
We are so proud of our AIS 5e team, L’AustIn Space! They received the 3rd place Champion's award at the FIRST LEGO League competition last week and are advancing to the next round on February 16 at Westwood High School!
Dress Code Reminder
Please be mindful of our uniform and dress code guidelines as you prepare your student(s) for the day. The AIS dress code is described as follows:
White or navy collared shirt (except Maternelle)
Navy blue bottoms (shorts, pants, jumper, skirt) solid (no patterns or denim)
Navy blue sweater or cardigan
White or navy socks
Closed toed rubber soled shoes (no sandals, flip flops, or Crocs™). Shoes should be suitable for active play. Students in Maternelle (PS, MS and GS) may not wear shoes that light up as this causes disruption in the classroom.
Jewelry that is easily removed or that could pose a choking or strangulation hazard is not allowed. Jewelry is easily lost, stolen, or even swallowed by young children. We encourage the students to leave rings, bracelets, necklaces, and items of value at home.
Viva la Frida Week-1/28 thru 2/1
We are excited to be having Viva la Frida Week in the AIS Library next week! Ms. Amanda is opening the library to parents for Spanish read alouds during this week. You can sign up for a time to read to your child's class in the library using this sign-up link.
