Outstanding Students

We have started a new program that recognizes outstanding students who go above and beyond to make our school a great place. Teachers choose one student from each grade level who deserves recognition. The students chosen will receive a Sonic drink of their choice, get their name on the marquee, and be recognized in the VAMS newsletter. We would like to congratulate the following students for making our school a great place to be:

Peyton Mann - 5th Grade

Makenna Dancer - 6th Grade

Savannah Gossett - 7th Grade

Ashton Swift - 8th Grade

Way to go! You make us proud!

Basketball Skills Event

Some of our students attended a Basketball Skills Event at Austin College in Sherman. They practiced for several weeks and saw their hard work pay off! The events were very competitive and they performed their individual skills with great success.
