The Indians made many major contributions in the world of math. The Indians were the first civilization to recognize zero as a real number. They also created the decimal system, and the numerical system, which created all real and decimal numbers. The Indians also createed algebra and algorithms, which were used to make their beautiful, complex temples.

The Indians also made many contributions to the world of science. The first astronomer to calculate that a year was 365.28 days was Indians. Other ideas from Indian astronomers were that planets were spheres, and that the Earth rotates on its axis. Indian astronomers also mapped planetary movements and created the idea that the universe was made up of tiny particles.
