SMART Start K-8 AdvancED Self Assessment

The District Wide Self Assessment was started last Wednesday and groups will have time to finish this Wednesday. The School Improvement Team members will help lead the self assessment, but everyone in your group should participate. It is ok to disagree with someone and talk about WHY. As a group, make a final decision. You will meet with your group at 7:35 am - 8:35 am and follow Joy's explanation. Everyone will bring their device but only one person will input your data.

MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS ON THE GOOGLE DOC, ADVANCED SELF ASSESSMENT AND CLICK ON THE LINK THAT SAYS AdvancED Standards for Quality School Systems Emphasized, SCROLL DOWN TO EACH STANDARD AND READ THE RUBRIC BESIDE EACH INDICATOR AND THE UNDERLINED WORDS. IF YOU DID NOT DO THIS LAST WEEK, GO BACK THROUGH THEM AGAIN.

We will meet in the following groups:

K & 1 in Possell's room (I want her to enter the information in the assessment)

Grade 2 + Mary in Katie's room - she will enter the information

Grade 3 + Shari in Jennifer's room - she will enter the information

Grade 4 + Autumn + Roger - Jaimi's room - she will enter the information

Grades 5/6 Team + Ryan in Cheryl's room - she will enter the information

Grades 7/8 + Cindy in Debbi's room - Amy will enter the information

Encore in Peg's room - she will enter the information (you may need to bring a chair!)

Learning Targets

Every teacher K-8 is expected to post learning objective/targets daily.

As Mrs. Kaiser/Mr. Connor complete Walk Throughs/Observations, these should be visible and students need to be able to tell us what they are doing/learning.
