Article: The Year of Mathical Thinking - Collection Development

Librarian Appraisal Role:

Program Administrator - Collection Development

Article: The Year of Mathical Thinking: A New Award Celebrates Excellent Math Titles (article shared by Julie Rychlik, NEISD Assistant Director for Elem. Math)

Social Media Opportunities

Librarian Appraisal Role: Program Administrator - Advocacy & Outreach

Twitter, FaceBook, Instagram for the library? Yes, please. This is the golden age of social media as a means of communication to our stakeholders. Patrons enjoy reading blurbs and seeing photos of library activities, so please consider utilizing some of these communication tools to advocate for the library program.

Library Services will upload photos and blurbs sent through email, as well. Ensure that parent permission has been granted to allow student photos to be shared through social media.

How will you take advantage of these golden opportunities?
