LCS Stakeholder Feedback Survey
This survey is composed of two parts. Part one, deals with our current Continuity of Learning Plan. Part two, we are asking for your feedback as we prepare for the 2020-21 school year. While none of us know what to expect come August 24, 2020, we do believe that creating multiple plans for our return in August will be of great benefit to our entire district. The entire survey should take about five to seven minutes to complete. Please click the link below to access the survey.
If you have more than one student in Linden Schools, please complete separate surveys for each student.
As you already know, information regarding the COVID-19 pandemic is ever-changing. With that in mind, please be aware that additional surveys may be needed in preparing for the 2020-21 school year.
We appreciate your time, your feedback, and your support.

2020-21 School Calendar
The Linden Board of Education has approved the 2020-21 Linden Education Association (LEA) contract, which includes the LCS school calendar. The 2020-21 school calendar was developed in a collaborative fashion between the LEA and the Linden Board of Education.
The first day of schools, for all Linden students, will be Monday, August 24, 2020. In the past, students were required by law to start school after Labor Day. Executive Order 2020-35 waives the post-Labor Day start, allowing school districts to start school prior to Labor Day, thus getting Linden students back to school as soon as possible.
This calendar is subject to change. Linden Community Schools has not made a determination or been given guidance from the State of Michigan, on how learning will look when we return. There is still a lot of uncertainty about what education will look like for the 2020-21 school year. Once we receive guidance from the State of Michigan we will be able to provide you with additional information.
Changes that you will notice in the 2020-21 calendar. Linden Community Schools will no longer have two hour late start days. Full teacher professional development days and two half days of teacher professional development have been added.
