Happy Retirement

We will miss Mrs. Cook and Mrs. Rooker

Big picture
Please join the AGS Staff in congratulating Mrs. Cook and Mrs. Rooker on their retirement from FAPS. Combined years of service to FAPS is an amazing 62 years - Mrs. Cook 28 years and Mrs. Rooker 34 years. Their dedication to teaching and passion for helping students is greatly appreciated. They will be missed by students and staff, but we wish them well as they move on to their next journey!

Student of the Month

Adam Payne, 8th Grade

Big picture
Adam was nominated by his teacher, Mrs. Sayer, for his creativity, enthusiasm, and kindness. Mrs. Sayer had this to say about Adam, "he is a great teacher! Adam is always teaching me something new and loves to share is knowledge with others. He is always positive and kind to his fellow classmates." Congratulations Adam and thank you for helping to make AGS a positive place for our staff and students.

Staff of the Month

Kelsey Lemke, Day Custodian

Big picture
Kelsey was nominated by several AGS staff members for always going above and beyond. She completes her duties with a smile and has a positive impact on the school environment. Kelsey keeps our building clean and safe for staff and students. She never complains about her job, no matter how messy some of her duties may be. Her positivity, helpful nature, and hard work ethic do not go unnoticed. We appreciate Kelsey and congratulate her for being named AGS Staff Member of the Month!

Dunk Tank Fun

On Thursday students had the opportunity to dunk Mr. Rettenmund and Mr. Seath as part of our 4th quarter PBIS event. The students had a great time dunking the principals! Despite the chilly temperature, Mr. Rettenmund and Mr. Seath enjoyed being dunked - the water was "heated." We have the pictures to prove it - see below!

8th Grade Chromebook Return

Collection of 8th grade chromebooks will begin on Tuesday, May 30 during SRT. 8th grade students attending FHS will be assigned a chromebook as they enter 9th grade.

Counselors' Corner

FINAL LEADERSHIP COUNCIL MEETING - Tuesday, 5/30 during the lunch periods.
