SA Food Bank
- There will be a produce distribution at 4 locations (LEE HS, Roosevelt HS, Harris MS, and Blossom Athletic Center)
- Once a week on Wednesdays during the month of May. Distribution will begin at 9 am until 11 am or until supplies last.

- Please put a sign on your windshield with the first and last name of the person who registered.

Show Me Something Good- TR DATA, ETA, & Library Support 3D Mask Making!
Roosevelt is supporting the NEISD 3D printing initiative. 3D printers are being used to create N95 masks and face-shields for first-responders. Filters inside the masks help to protect medical staff from contracting the virus, while the face shields are used as a barrier to prevent contraction or transmission. To date, 126 halos have been printed on the DATA 3D printers and delivered to Can Opener Labs. The halos received by Can Opener Labs are then equipped with the clear shield to complete the face shield for medical workers. DATA teachers Paul Fritz, Devin Gee, and Katy Philbrick, are all running the printers at their homes to create these necessary tools. They continue to print more halos and deliver them each week. Roosevelt Librarian Ms. Lynette Perez made an initial delivery of 12 face shield bands. All 3D printed parts are being donated to Can Opener Labs to be distributed to medical facilities.

Show Me Something Good- Roosevelt Boys' Soccer
Roosevelt Boys' 19/20 soccer season has been one of great progress and team identification. They started the season early with a 7-3 record winning the SAISD tournament for the 1st time and getting valuable experience at the Humble ISD Tournament. The team then entered District 27 6A, which is the hardest district in the state of Texas. They had a 5-5-2 record with two games this season remaining versus LEE and Churchill, but suspension took place after Spring Break for the COVID-19 pandemic. Roosevelt is currently in 4th place which would qualify us for playoffs, the first time since 2008.

Show Me Something Good- TR Choir Earns Superior Rating at Texas Madrigal Festival
This prestigious festival draws the best Choirs from throughout the State and has a long-standing reputation for rigorous adjudication. TR Choir sent their Chamber Ensemble to the Texas Madrigal and Chamber Choir Festival, founded in the 1970's, where the Ensemble was awarded a Superior Rating for the performance. The judges and adjudicators had very complimentary things to say about the work of these fine singers and congratulated them on a successful performance of some very challenging, collegiate-level music. These TR singers represented our campus very well on a very prestigious stage thanks to all the community support.
