Who is he?
Tim Burners-Lee is a computer scientist who invented the world wide web (w.w.w.) He is a important part of world wide history and was featured in the 2012 Olympics opening ceremony.
He was born in June 1955, he grew up and London and studied physics. After his education he became a software engineer, his ideas were on hypertext he wanted to create a system which would allow researchers to share information with everyone. in 1991 he created his first website the address was //info.cern.ch . He then gave others a way of it and creating their own websites. then others made the web what it is today.
