Homeless are those who have no home or permanent place of residency. To help those who are homeless you can, give food, money, clothing, volunteer for shelters, and many other ways.

A organization that helps the homeless is the National Coalition for the Homeless. This organization helps to prevent and end homelessness while helping those experiencing homelessness and ensuring they have their civil rights protected.

Children who are homeless don’t perform as well in school. Why? What can be done to help them?
Kids that are homeless tend to struggle in school because some schools will not allow some children to enroll without a medical and school records, also without a home address. Many homeless children also have learning disabilities.
