In honor of School Board Recognition Week (which took place during break) we recognize our Duluth School Board members and all they do for our schools and our community. There are many facets to being an elected official responsible for over a dozen schools, residential and day treatment centers, thousands of students and over a thousand employees. We're fortunate to have people on the board who are focused on the education of our community’s young people. Thanks for all you do.
This week includes School Bus Driver Appreciation Day. We're especially appreciative of drivers in Minnesota and Duluth who work hard each day to bring children safely to and from school - and do so in all kinds of challenging weather situations. Thank you.
Next week is Paraprofessional Appreciation Week. Our paraprofessionals are an important part of our team, providing so many supportive services to our students and their families. We appreciate everything they do everyday.
