Pajama Day on Friday

Students may pay $1 to wear pajamas to school on Friday. All proceeds will go to support JDRF.

News from the Cafeteria

Due to the recall on lettuce, the cafeteria will not be serving chef salads until further notice. Most likely, we will not have salads until after the winter break. If your child eats the salads, please let them know this will not be a choice for a while.

Lost and Found

Please encourage your children to check the lost and found for missing items, or you may check the next time you are at school. The lost and found is located just past the cafeteria on Wellness Way. We have a large number of coats and jackets piling up, and all unclaimed items will be donated to LICS on December 21. Thank you!

Creek Cares Tree

The Creek Cares tree is set up in our lobby. If you would like to purchase gifts for a family in need, please take a tag. We will be collecting gifts until December 17. If you have any questions, please contact one of the school counselors. Thank you!

Book Fair is here!

The Scholastic Book Fair will remain at RCE until noon on Friday, December 7. The book fair will be open daily from 7 am to 3 pm and open at Family Reading Night on December 6. You may send money with your child and they will have the chance to shop, or you may come shop with your child before or after school! Please contact our librarian, Mrs. Swygert, if you have any questions!

Label those coats and jackets!

As temperatures are getting cooler, please take the time to write your child's name in his/her coat, jacket, sweatshirts in order to identify misplaced articles. Also, remind your child to check the lost and found if missing something. The lost and found is located at the end of Wellness Way, right past the cafeteria.

School doors open at 7:00.

Please do not drop off children and pull away before 7:00 am. Doors are unlocked at 7:00, and dropping them off earlier means that they are outside unsupervised. For the safety of your children, please wait until you see an adult open the school doors to let your children out of the car. Thank you for putting safety first!

Please have your child at school by 7:40. If not, please walk them inside to the office.

Please do not drop children off, watch them enter the doors, and pull off. This is not a safe practice, and we ask you for the safety of your children to please walk them inside.

Need to change your child's transportation - phone call or handwritten notes accepted.

Please make sure you communicate any transportation changes through a handwritten note or phone call to the front office at 821-4200 before 2pm. Do not communicate transportation changes via an email to the teacher. Your email may not be read before dismissal.
