Georgia School Personnel Survey

Hopefully everyone completed this survey. However, if for some reason you did not, it is attached below. Thanks.

Leave early Monday...Test Meeting For ALL Staff on Tuesday

Everyone is approved to leave on Monday as soon as the buses are gone because...on Tuesday, Ms. Seymour will attempt to be completed by 4 PM but may run late as she prepares to share all of the information regarding our upcoming Milestones Assessment.

Common Core Resource

During the "Math with Julie" session this week, Dr. Barlow shared an additional resource with me - videos of teachers in action in their classrooms followed by their reflection on the instructional strategies implemented:

At this point, I have only watched three videos. However, one common thread is the students' ability to communicate their learning strategies.

The link below shows students sharing how they solve multi-step problems.

Grade 5 Math: Use the Measurement System and Fractions to Solve Application Problems:

Excellent ideas for reflection as we continue to raise the bar for our students.
