Greetings from the Superintendent's Office

The first days of school have gone very well! Students are adjusting to the new social distancing guidelines while still maintaining a sense of normalcy in the classroom. Increased sanitation and cleaning procedures are being used daily in the buildings and on the buses. Please continue to monitor your children at home and if they are running a fever or are sick, please keep them home and notify the office.

Early College Program

Early College Program

Last year, the Clarkton C-4 School District partnered with Arkansas Northeastern College to provided early college, dual credit opportunities for students in grades 9-12. Students who meet the eligibility criteria can begin taking classes the spring semester of their freshmen year. Students can take history, psychology, sociology, art appreciation, writing composition, and a variety of other courses. While enrolled, students earn college credit in addition to high school credit. Through this partnership, the cost of these courses is only $25 per credit hour!

Nucor Diploma Squared Scholarship

Nucor Diploma Squared Scholarship

Senior Yahaira Juarez was selected as a recipient of the Nucor Diploma Squared Scholarship through Arkansas Northeastern College. She was chosen based on her academic record, ACT score, and attendance. Under this scholarship, the cost of a credit hour is reduced to $10 for up to 15 credit hours per semester. Students who receive this scholarship must agree to complete a path of study that will lead to a certificate of general studies through ANC. This certificate requires 31 or 32 hours depending on the path a student chooses. Congratulations Yahaira--we are so very proud of all your hard work and dedication!

Breakfast in the Classroom

Breakfast in the Classroom

This year, all students will be provided the opportunity to eat breakfast in their classroom as they begin their day. Breakfast entrees, fresh fruit, and ice cold milk will be delivered in coolers to the classrooms each morning. As students begin their morning work, a nutritional breakfast will help them start their day off right. This program was made possible in part by a grant from the St. Louis Dairy Council.
