The Bulldog's Bark
Week of March 15th
Dear Bulldog Families,
We are so excited to offer a 5 day in-person instruction model for our students and families! Thank you for supporting our staff by holding true to our closed campus and not dropping off your children until 7:45am. Transition always bring new challenges, and as we now have all of in-person students attending school five days a week, a clear new challenge is traffic. To help mitigate the large amount of traffic on Palermo Road during dismissal, please do not come onto campus until 12:40pm to pick up your child from school. School is not dismissed until 12:45pm, and the traffic accumulating between 12:30-12:45pm creates unsafe conditions for our families and students. We understand that many of our families need to pick up children from multiple sites. Dismissal times for the sites have been adjusted to accommodate for the time needed to get from our site to Golden Hills and/or Helen Wilcox. We will be able to maintain the current dismissal rate of our students to their cars from 12:45-1:00pm having our families support this 12:40pm request. To better keep Palermo Road open to other traffic, we would also like our families entering at the front of our campus to enter from Palermo Road from the East (in front of CDF), or enter our site using Esperanza Avenue (cross street is Hewitt Avenue). Bulldogs, thank you so much for your continuous support during this third transition!
Warmly,
Mrs. Solano
