Week 3 is here!
Academic Team Calendar
Upcoming Dates
September 3 - Instructional Specialists' Meeting
September 16 - ICEF Cadre Day
Instructional Focus
As we move into the third week, students are becoming more comfortable with their teachers and the school environment. Routines, procedures, and expectations should be set. In addition to 2.2A, 100%, the focus for this week will be on 3.1A Communication of the Learning Objective. Remember -
- Just because the objective is posted, doesn't mean the students know it.
- Just because the teacher states the objective, doesn't mean the student knows it.
- Just because the students choral read it aloud, doesn't mean they know it.
As for 100%, we're still seeing a lot of "Track the Speaker," and "Slant!" but without any reinforcement. 1 or 5 or 10 or 23 out of 30 students tracking or slanting is still not 100%. Say what you mean and mean what you say!

As we mentioned during summer training, the Development team will be asking each school for a list of initiatives/items that they would like funding for. Michel will follow up with each campus individually, but please begin thinking about the following proposals:
