Back to School Night 2022-2023- Th, August 25th from 5-6:30pm
Dear Muskego Lakes Families,
With the 4 day weekend ahead, students will only have 8 days of school remaining. Here are some ideas / reminders to help make the last two weeks go smoothly:
- Have your child double check Infinite Campus to ensure all work is turned in and they are caught up for the end of the year.
- Have your child check their rooms, lockers, or homes for any school materials such as library books, textbooks, etc and return to school.
- Have your child check the lost and found for any items that may be theirs.
- Have your child bring home any extra coats, sweatshirts, hats, etc that are in their locker. You'd be surprised how much one locker accumulates in a year!
- Yearbooks will be distributed the last week of school.
- Spring iReady reports will be mailed home next week, please look for them.
- The final day of school, June 9th is a half day. Students are released at 12:00pm!
We hope that all of our Muskego Lakes families have a safe and enjoyable Memorial Day weekend! As always, please reach out to us if you have any questions.
With Love,
Rachel Rydzewski & Nancy Pasch

8th Grade Promotion Information Ahead
8th Grade Promotion Ceremony & Dance to Follow
Please save the date for the 8th grade promotion ceremony ahead! It will take place on Wednesday, June 8th at 6pm at Muskego Lakes Middle School.
- We welcome all our 8th grade families to attend, but we ask that you be mindful in how many guests you invite to join you because of limited seating and parking. We ask that you carpool if possible and know that when seating fills, there will be standing room available.
- Students will need to be dropped off at 5pm to begin lining up, with doors opening for families at 5pm as well.
- If a guest needs accessible seating due to health conditions or special needs, please reach out to Mary Amaya, Administrative Assistant to the Principal at mary.amaya@muskegonorway.org.
- Typically 8th graders dress up for the promotion ceremony, but formal attire is not requirement. Students will walk up and across the stage during the ceremony, and then the 8th Grade Dance will follow the ceremony. So, we ask that families consider the nature of the event and select attire that fits for a middle school event.
Volunteers Needed
The 8th grade promotion committee is looking for more help to make this event a success. Please consider donating your time or supplies.

Speak Up, Speak Out Wisconsin
Our staff at Muskego Lakes take threats seriously. We are grateful for our partnership with students and parents as they continue to be invested in their school culture as we all work together to keep our schools safe. We encourage all families to talk about how a child should respond to any threat or concern, regardless of the source or legitimacy. If a student or parent is not comfortable going directly to a district staff member, they can use Wisconsin's Speak Up, Speak Out that will notify a school administrator and/or police authorities immediately. Speak Up, Speak Out! Speak Up, Speak Out is managed by the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of School Safety.
You may make a report by visiting the website, using your smartphone by downloading the SPEAK UP, SPEAK OUT app from the Apple Store and Google Play, or by calling 1-800-MY-SUSO-1 to speak to a resource center analyst.
