You Have to Mix in a Little Fun!!
No matter where you work, you probably spend more time with your work family than your home and extended family during the work week. It is my belief that the time spent together should be enjoyable - and for it to be enjoyable you have to mix in some fun when you can!
I hope you love your work family as much as I love mine!

November Billboard
This months billboard celebrates some Senior Robotics team members and their journey in the BISD robotics program since the 3rd grade.

New Payroll Specialist
We recently welcomed Tracey Burris as the Payroll Specialist for BISD. She previously worked at Finley-Oates as an Administrative Assistant. Tracey has jumped right in and is learning the job very quickly - we are so lucky to have moved her into this role. She will be a great asset to all BISD employees!

The Grounds Around BHS Get a Face Lift
New Teacher YOUniversity
This program was created and is hosted by Chris Dickson and Jenny Haggard. This monthly program will continue to be attended by teachers with 0-2 years experience in the teaching field.
Thank you to Chris, Jenny and all the participants - this is great support for our newest Warrior teachers.

Baseball field graphics in place
halloween on the square
Central Office staff handed out Halloween candy on Monday. It was great seeing so many current students as well as former students who are now trick-or-treating with their own children!

BHS Culinary Arts Students Prepare Breakfast for the Pastoral Alliance Monthly Meeting
This month our meeting was held at the First Baptist Church in Bonham. The BHS Culinary Arts students prepared and served a delicious meal that included breakfast casserole, sausage balls, quiche, fruit & yogurt cups and cinnamon rolls. I tried everything and believe me, these chefs are really talented!!

BHS Robotics Team Gets a Day in honor of them
On Monday, October 31, Mayor Compton proclaimed the day as Bonham Robotics Day in honor of the team's success and participation in the STATE Coco BEST Competition this coming Saturday. The Mayor read the proclamation aloud and presented it to Carson Arris and Maggie Vaught.

BHS Robotics Team Advances to STATE
BHS proudly hosted the CoCo BEST Robotics Competition last Saturday. Nearly 30 schools from the north Texas area attended the competition.
The energy and spirit was amazing and definitely something to watch if you have never been to a robotics competition before. Our students, teachers and parents worked hard not only getting their robot and marketing presentation ready to compete but to also be ready to host.
The BHS Robotics Team earned a back-to-back trip to the state competition - let's be ready to robot!
