A Message from the Principal
Chapman families,
Parent Teacher Conferences are February 2 and 8. Please take a minute to respond to your student's teacher and sign up for a conference time. Our teachers are able to conference with you via the phone, virtually or in person. This is a wonderful opportunity to check in and see how everything is going at school and for you to share with us concerns, celebrations or questions you may have. We value the relationship between home and school and look forward to this opportunity to meet with our families!
Please take a moment to check out the "PTA" section of our newsletter for new information and upcoming events!
Chapman is participating in the Great Kindness Challenge this week! Students brought home an at-home challenge if your family would also like to participate!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

Kindergarten Registration for 2023-24 School Year
Student Fees Now Past Due
All student fees were due December 16th. Students with prior year fees may not attend spring field trips. Fees may be paid online at PaySchools or by sending check or exact cash in with your student. Please call the office if you need assistance.
Winter Weather Reminder
Now that the weather has officially cooled down, please make sure that students are dressed weather appropriate for recess. Students will go outdoors unless the temperature, including wind chill, is below 20 degrees. Please also write your child's name in coats and hats. This allows us to return lost or misplaced items back to the correct student.
PaySchools Online Breakfast/Lunch Payment
PaySchools Central is an online payment platform to help make managing breakfast and lunch and fee payments easier for families. Click below to set up your portal to be used both online and via the mobile app.
Shared Food Guidelines
The District adheres to guidelines for shared food and snacks so that we can promote safety, consistency, and equal access for the growing number of children who have life-threatening food allergies.
Before and After School Child Care
Strongsville City Schools partners with Right at School to provide families with before and after school childcare opportunities. The program is located right here at Chapman! For more information and for program registration, please visit their website.
Program hours: Before school: 7:00 am-8:50 am and After school: 3:25 pm-6:00 pm
Red, White, Blue Encore Calendar
Students attend Encore Classes (Art, Music, PE) during a specific "color" week. Your child's teacher will share their specific class Encore Schedule with you. (Example: If I have PE on red weeks, I would want to dress appropriately (wear tennis shoes) on the days that are shaded red on the calendar).
