Dear Muskego Lakes Families,
As we look ahead to Thanksgiving, we wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude to all of you. Thank you for all the ways you partner with us to help us best support your child. Thank you for helping us celebrate your child's successes and for working with us to help navigate the hard days too. Thank you for supporting your child by monitoring Infinite Campus. Thank you for keeping up-to-date with our newsletters and our school's social media. Thank you for all the ways you check in with your child about his or her day, friendships, progress as a learner, and hopes and dreams. Thank you for reaching out when your child and/or family are going through difficult times so we can walk alongside of you. And thank you for your feedback, ideas, and support. It truly takes a village, and we feel so blessed to have such supportive families.
It is an honor to spend our days with your children. Thank you for trusting us to care for them, to always listen first, to help them see their strengths, to meet each one of them where they are at academically, to help build their confidence, to preserve their dignity at all costs, to accept them for who they are, and to make sure they are treated well while under our care.
We hope you enjoy celebrating Thanksgiving ahead. We know that for some, holidays are a time to be with family and a time of joy. And for some, holidays can be hard. But in light of the events in Waukesha over the weekend, hug your loved ones a little tighter this year. Because regardless of the hard times we all face, there is always good around us if we look for it. And I don't know about you but I think our young people, more than ever, need us to be beacons of hope.
Happy Thanksgiving!
With love,
Rachel Rydzewski & Nancy Pasch

Muskego Lakes Parent Satisfaction Survey
We are looking for your feedback! We are hoping you would consider spending a few minutes to take a Parent Satisfaction Survey about Muskego Lakes. That way, we can learn about what is working well and areas we can improve on to better meet your needs. The survey is open until December 17th. Thanks for partnering with us to provide the best possible learning experience for your child!

Bus Updates from Dairyland
We are happy to announce that with the recent hiring of a new bus driver, our double runs at Muskego Lakes Middle School are no longer needed. The separation of these routes, which were originally combined due to the shortage of drivers, should shorten the bus ride for many students. Therefore, if your child was a part of the double run route, ML 235A, B, C they may have a new bus/route number.
Again, you will see these changes reflected in Infinite Campus beginning today, Tuesday, November 23, 2021. Changes will go into effect on Monday, November 29, 2021.
Please contact Dairyland at 262-203-9938 with any questions or concerns.
Coping After A Trauma
In addition, we wanted to share a resource that might help you navigate talking to your child about a trauma. This resource goes over different tips for different age groups, signs of trauma, and how to support students.
