Hello 4-H families,
Thank you for your involvement in Minnesota 4-H! Minnesota 4-H previously announced that 4-H members would be continuously enrolled in the program until they aged or opted out. We are adding a step to ensure we have current information for all 4-H’ers. In order to remain enrolled, you will need to show your family’s intent to participate by logging in to 4-H Online and reviewing, updating and submitting the following information:
- Your family's contact and demographic information, including club, school and grade.
- Each family member's health and emergency contact information.
- Project areas of interest for this coming year.
You can log in to 4-H Online here to complete the re-enrollment process. This guide has more information. If you have any questions about re-enrolling or any other aspect of 4-H involvement please contact the office.
It's Time to Reflect & Complete 4-H Records
As our 4-H year comes to close it is time to think about the year that was. 4-H learning encompasses the experiential learning cycle, do-reflect-apply. It is time to reflect on what we have learned and apply it to real life. One way of doing that is to complete a record by the October 3 deadline. The materials included in this email provides a framework or options for reflecting on what you have learned in 4-H. Please look it over and think about completing one of the options.
In addition, there are scholarship opportunities for youth grades 9 and up and 7th grade and up. These scholarships are awarded by Alexandria Elks, Alexandria Rotary, Thornton family and Douglas County 4-H. If you have any questions, please reach out to Jodi or Jackie.

Thank You
Thank you to everyone who helped make this past year in 4-H a great one; from our club leaders and project volunteers, those youth and adults who mentored new families and members, everyone who helped at the county fair, state fair, state shoot, state horse and state dog experiences. Our program is successful because of all of you!
Thank you to the fairies who dropped off a fun gift basket for our office and staff. It was greatly appreciated and totally unexpected. It really made our day!
