The Weekly Update #4
April 18th, 2023

A Message from the Head Raptor
Happy May 1st to our Riverview families. We have 5 and a half weeks left and we plan to make the most of our remaining days with your children packing in learning and experiences they can take with them into summer and beyond. Thank you all for being aware of the weather each day as we get through this interesting spring! We do our best to be outside for recess every day that is not raining or snow/raining.
Speaking of summer...don't forget to sign up for our Riverview STEAM Summer Academy here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1I7hAShT6Kte4pzgV5dbs3iRmetT38lUeoHbtpC5XVhA/edit
Riverview teachers work hard to make our summer experience hands on and fun. Students will rotate through three sections each day learning together, building, thinking, creating, and growing their Raptor brains.
Grandparent's Day invitations are being made by students and will be coming home this week. We ask that you help us and be sure Grandparents have their invitation (or a picture on their phone) for our event. The invite will help them more quickly connect with their grandchild as it lists their grade and teacher. This year grandparents will have some time learning with their grandchild in their classroom, enjoying a sweet snack, provided by our wonderful PTO, and if they would like, they can take their grandchild to the Scholastic Book Fair. We are excited to spend time with our grandRaptors.
Field Day June 8, 2023 will be here before we know it and we need your help to make this a successful event for our students. Please complete this google form to sign up to help us end the year with a fantastic celebration! https://forms.gle/3A3pLFxqZsaFdbGW9
