School Year Farewell

I know I say this every year but it is really true...

I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW QUICKLY THIS YEAR HAS PASSED!!!

We have had a wonderful year at Pine Knob Elementary with students growing both in statue and in their academic pursuits. It amazes me how students come prepared each day to be challenged and rise to the occasion. The hard work our students put forth each day would not be recognizable if not for the dedicated support of our staff, families and PTA. It certainly takes an entire community to see our children through their trials and tribulations each and everyday but together we make amazing things happen for all students.

A huge THANK YOU goes out to our PTA Board for all of the support and leadership they have provided our school during the past year:

Christine Cairns, President

Katie Charter, 1st Vice President

Stephanie Crane, 2nd Vice President

Corrie Ruby, Treasurer

Tricia Elson, Co-Treasurer

Stacey Garrison, Secretary

Anne-Marie Williamson, Fundraising

Vicki Uebbing, Membership

Stacy Swick, Volunteer Coordinator

The staff at Pine Knob Elementary wishes all of our students and families a safe and happy, fun-filled summer! We look forward to seeing everyone back on the first day of the 2016-2017 school year.

Thank you for a great fun-filled year as your PKE principal,

Jodi Yeloushan

A special thank you to Rodney Elnick, from the Detroit Steelheaders, for his ongoing support of this project. The fish tank was placed in the 2nd grade hallway so that the whole school was able to witness and enjoy the salmons' growth.
