West Nile virus is an infectious disease that first happened in the united states in 1999. It is a virus That can cause death.

What causes West Nile virus

West Nile virus is most commonly transmitted to humans by mosquitoes. The mosquito first bites an infected bird and then bites a human or animal.

Symptoms of West Nile virus

Symptoms of West Nile virus includes fever, headache, body ache, and skin rash. Severe symptoms and signs may include stiff neck, sleepiness, disorientation, coma, tremors, convulsions, and paralysis. Most cases of West Nile Virus infection are mild or go unreported.

How to prevent West Nile Virus

To prevent West Nile Virus, you should:

Use insect repellent when you go outdoors

Mosquito-Proof your house, meaning install or repair screens on windows and doors to keep mosquito out.

And last spray repellent on you clothes. Do not spray it directly on your skin.

In conclusion, i have seen that west Nile virus is a very deadly disease. There are many ways to prevent it, so do so now before its too late.
