What to do if you know someone is contemplating suicide
Never take suicide warning sides lightly or promise to keep them a secret
Remain calm and ask the youth directly if he or she is contemplating suicide
Reassure them that there is help and they will not feel like this forever
Suicide is the third leading cause of death among youth between the ages of 10- 19.
Parents, teachers, friends, siblings need to notice the signs of youth contemplating suicide and get help.
