Qualifications and Job Expectations of Congressmen
You have to be at least 25 years old, citizen of 7 years and a resident of the state they represent to be a Representative. Expectations are members chosen every second year by the people of the several states. To be in the Senate you have to be more than 30 years old, citizen of the United States for at least 9 years and should not be an Inhabitant of that state that he was chosen in after being elected. They need to have two senators from each state for 6 years.
Meeting times and Powers granted to Congress
The congress assembled at every Monday in December. They meet at least once in ever year. The powers are Revenue, borrowing, commerce, naturalization and bankruptcy, currency, counterfeiting, post office, Copyrights and Patents, courts, piracy, declare war, army, navy, rules for armed forces, militia, national guard, nation's capital and Elastic Clause.
Rules of Congress
Each state has its own rules, they can punish its members for disorderly behavior and can expel a member by two-thirds vote.
How a Bill becomes a law
It has to pass both houses of congress and has to be signed by the president. If two-thirds of the each houses approves the bill after the president veto's it they can make it a law. If the president doesn't approve within 10 days it becomes a law
