Dear Mason Families,
Happy Mid-Winter Break! As we celebrated our 100th day of school this past Monday, it was interesting to hear students talk about what they have learned at Mason since September. When I stopped several students in the hallway, they let me know over the last 100 days they wanted to acknowledge the following: becoming a better person, accomplishing goals they thought were huge at the beginning of the school year, and increasing their leadership capacity. As a community, we are doing a fabulous job of maintaining a shared vision for excellence. Helping our learners thrive academically while emphasizing the importance to become well-rounded citizens through leadership and character opportunities have really helped us uphold our Many Hands, One Mason theme. Thank you so much for all you do to support your child and continuously helping them understand what it truly means to be a Leader, a Learner and to be Kind.
The break is a great time to reflect and celebrate the successes they have experienced thus far. We have wonderful learners at Mason and they are passionate about becoming better every day. If there is anything we can do to help your child be a more well-rounded citizen, please don't hesitate to let us know.
Have a wonderful break,
Roy
