DE/WBL Info Session

We will host a dual enrollment and work-based learning information session on January 26th at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium. Anyone who wants to learn more about these programs is welcome to attend.

Class of 2026 Advising Appointments

Freshmen should schedule an academic advising appointment with Mrs. Hazlett to discuss classes for sophomore year. Click here to schedule an appointment and be sure to invite your parents. Please pick a time during an elective class period, not during English, Math, Science, or Social Studies. Openings will fill quickly but meetings can be scheduled three months in advance.

GA Tech Distance Computer Science Classes

Beginning in the summer of 2023, Georgia Tech will offer distance computer science classes to students who are in the 11th or 12th grades. The application opens on March 1, 2023, but you should prepare now if you want to apply. Please click here to learn more.

Mentors Needed

We are seeking adult mentors for our students and would love for parents to participate! Please click here to complete an interest form and then Dr. Woodward will contact you regarding the next steps.

Scholarship Spotlight

Students in 10th, 11th, and 12th grades, you are eligible to win up to $40,000 in scholarship money each month now through February of your graduation year. To enter the scholarship drawing, you simply complete tasks like starting a career list, building a college list, starting a scholarship search, etc. Click here to learn more.


The Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship is open for graduating, minority seniors. Click here to apply by January 11, 2023.


The Watson-Brown Scholarship application is open! Applications are due by February 8, 2023. Click here for more details.


The Georgia Scholar Program application opened on November 4th. All applications are due by 5:00 p.m. on February 10, 2023. Click here for more information. Please note that there are no scholarship funds available with this program. Instead, eligible students will receive a seal for their high school diploma.


The Venus Morris Griffin Foundation Scholarship provides $10,000 to a graduating senior who has a parent who is incarcerated. Applications are due by February 15, 2023. Click here to apply.


The Horatio Alger Scholarship provides $10,000-$25,000 to deserving juniors. Applications are due by March 15, 2023. Click here for more information.


The Columbia County Historical Society is offering a $2,000 scholarship. All applications are due by April 1, 2023. Click here for more information.


The Get Into Energy Scholarship is worth $1,000! All applications are due by April 2, 2023. Click here for more information.

The Rotary Club of Augusta invites students in grades 9-12 to enter its speech contest by February 17, 2023. Click here for details.
