Principal's Message
Wildcat Families,
I hope you are still in the full swing of summer and are enjoying time at the pool, or the beach, or wherever is your summer happy place. If you’re looking for some fun, family adventures to finish out your summer, check out this article from Atlanta Traveler. There are some great ideas here. One of my favorite summer events is tubing. I usually take my kids river tubing in Helen or Ellijay and we also try to go to one of Roswell’s Slip n’ Slide events. My kids are now 12 and 15 and last week my 12 year old son informed me that he and his sister played Rock, Paper, Scissors to decide who had to tell me they are too old for the Slip n’ Slide event. Sigh. Enjoy all the family time you can while your kids will still go wherever you take them.
We are hard at work here prepping for teachers to return on August 3rd and of course to welcome students on the 9th. I can’t wait to have kids back in the building. It brings me so much joy!
Take a look at the newsletter below to learn more about upcoming events including a principal meet and greet next week and a new Back to School Picnic on August 14.
Please reach out if you need anything. See you soon!
Stephanie Haga

Volunteer Opportunity-Partners in Education Program Lead
We are looking for a parent to lead our Partners in Education Program. Our Partners in Education Program consists of individuals and businesses who commit time, energy and resources to support the mission and vision of the school. The Partners in Education Lead will be responsible for following up with current and former partners to renew their partnership agreement as well as to identify and reach out to new potential partners.
If you are interested in volunteering as our Partners in Education lead, please reach out to Kevin-Marie Davis at daviskevinmarie@gmail.com . I hope you will consider supporting the school in this way.
