What is the main conflict of the memoir?
Both sisters (Raina and Amara) are fighting constantly about everything and their parents have split up for the summer. Amara's snake also gets loose and hides in the front seat of the car.
What is the Climax (turning point) of the story?
The sisters get left in the car for a couple of hours when the car breaks down. Their mom has to go into town to get a tow-truck. During the long hours of waiting, Amara's snake finally comes out of the seat!
What happens in the Resolution?
The tow truck finally comes and the family is finally reunited again. Raina and Amara finally get along and their family happily goes back to San Francisco.
