Message from the Principal
Week Of August 17th, 2020
Woodbury Middle School staff members are very excited to have the school year begin. We know it definitely will be a unique experience from other school years, but please know we will continue to prioritize our students physical/social/emotional safety and academic learning in the days/months ahead despite any challenges we will encounter.
Woodbury Middle School will open to kick off the new school year with a “Transition Week” Monday, August 31st through Thursday, September 3rd. We are excited to have our students returning in all formats chosen (hybrid or Virtual Learning Academy), and we are eager to meet our new students who will be attending Woodbury MS for the very first time! Welcome EVERYONE!!!
Something else new in 2020-21 is that WMS will be a one-to-one technology school. Each student will be issued a chrome book. *Important note: please fill out the Acceptable Use form and opt in or out of the insurance for the chrome book.(See Below under chrome books) Before we can issue chrome books this has to have been completed. Secondly, please make sure all your information is up to date in Infinite Campus.
We will continue to share information in the days/weeks ahead on our webpage and through Blackboard Connect Messages (which is how you received this communication!). If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the front office directly at 651.425.4501. We are here to help!
Thanks to each of you in advance for your continued support, and involvement in your child’s education. We are all very fortunate to be part of such an exceptional school district and learning community!
Sincerely,
Karin Lopez, Principal
Josh Eidem Assistant Principal
Kelli Isakson Assistant Principal

Parent Schoology: What is It?
Schoology is a learning management system and networking service for schools to allow all users (students, parents and staff members) to create, manage and share academic content online. Each instructional staff member at WMS has an individual Schoology site and will be working through the site for each of their individual classes.
The intended outcome of individual Schoology sites is to increase the effectiveness and consistency of our communication of individual classroom content, standards and outcomes, classroom resources, expectations, activities/events, etc. to our students and their families. All staff contact information can be found on WMS Middle School’s website located at: wms@sowashco.org.
If you are experiencing problems with Schoology, please send an email to the following email address for support: schoologyhelp@sowashco.org
