Who am I?
I am Caroline Chisholm and I was born in England on the 30th of May 1808. I got married to Archibald Chisholm. I also became a roman catholic during my marriage with archibald. I died in England on the 25th of march 1877 at the age of 69.
why am I well known?
I am famous for helping feamale Imigrants and there familes, I found them Employment and i gave them shelter.How did i do this? governor gorge gipps gave me a run down building i then cleaned it up and moved the feamale imigrants and their families into it.

"My name is Caroline Chisholm and this is my story.
I was born on the 30th of May, 1808 in England. I married Archibald Chisholm, a soldier in British East India company. I became Roman Catholic like my husband.
I dedicated my life to helping female immigrants. My husband supported my work. Governor George Gips gave me a run down building, I then used it to shelter female immigrants and their families. I found employment for them and gave them another chance at life.
I wrote the 1st book to be written and published by a female and spent the rest of my life helping people. I died in England on 25th of March, 1877 at the age of 69".
