Gator Tales
Grace Episcopal School Vol. 5 - Friday September 25th
A Message From Dr. Ricks
Parents and Friends,
We have had such a full week. I loved seeing so many of you at Open House, and I am glad that you got a bit of one-on-one time with your teachers. Parent-teacher conferences are coming up, and if you have not been contacted by your child's teacher, you will be shortly. It is important to get an extended visit with your children's teachers and talk about how they are doing at this point in the year when there is still plenty of time to change habits and attitudes to ensure that students are successful. Our teachers value the opportunity to meet with parents and discuss your child's strengths and challenges and chart a course for the year.
PINK OUT!!! What an amazing pep rally we had today! Gator Spirit was loud and proud as our talented Gator Squad stunted, danced, and led our students through several fantastic cheers. Mr. Nickelson was great on the mic, and Mrs. Waller deserves applause for organizing ribbon sales, t-shirts, and the assembly agenda. Grace students love a dress-up day, and it was wonderful to see so many students enjoying themselves out of uniform! Many thanks to our spirit leaders and their parents and coaches for working so hard for our students and for our school. Have a great weekend!
Warmly,
Dr. Beth J. Ricks

A Message from our Librarian - Dee Cagle
Our Book Fair was once again a HUGE success. A very special thank you to Jennifer Barr for once again chairing the event, to Allison Jarrell for co-chairing, and to all the parents who helped set up, work the event, and shopped.
Here are the winners:
Lower School Win was a tie between Mrs. Laura's & Mrs. Beth's Pre K 3 class and Mrs. Trish & Mrs. Carolyn's Pre K 3 class.
Middle School Winner was Mr. Nickelson
The Guess How Many Cheetos I Am contest was won by 2nd Grader Hank Hinkle. Hank guessed 350 when the actual number was 351. Great Job Hank!
