Yearbooks
The yearbooks will not be delivered prior to the end of the school year this year. Instead, we will be binding the Spring section of the yearbook (including spring sports, prom, graduation, etc.) in the book rather than as a supplement delivered separately later the following school year. This means that the entire year will be included when students get their yearbooks.
An additional benefit is that this also allows us to continue yearbook sales until June 30th. This means that anyone who has not yet purchased a yearbook and was waiting for the extras to go on sale still has an opportunity to guarantee that they get a yearbook. You can order online at www.smart-pay.com.
We will have a yearbook distribution event on Thursday, August 23rd prior to the first home football game. Students will be able to pick up their yearbooks on that date. (Watch for more details as to time and location on the website and in the school bulletin and “start of the year” newsletter). Any yearbooks not picked up on August 23rd will be delivered to students still in school the first week of the new school year. Class of 2018 yearbooks that are not picked up on August 23rd will be available in the main office.
If you have questions, you can contact Mrs. Trometter in Room 134 or via email at jtrometter@otsegops.org.

NOVELS, NOVELS & NOVELS, OH MY!!!
Many novels from our English classes have disappeared! We are so thrilled that our students are reading voraciously, and we love having discussions about these books. Go BULLDOGS!!! However, we NEED the books! Our fabulous English teachers usually purchase with their own money, and we would like to see them reappear! Please take a second to look at home, your locker, your backpack, under your bed, in the trunk of your car, etc. for any books that have Otsego High School or any of our English teachers’ names on them (you know who we are) and return them with no questions asked. Thanks in advance!
Also, if you have any extra novels at home that you no longer need, please feel free to donate them to your favorite English teacher! We are always looking for new books to have in our library, so they, too, can disappear! J
