We are honored to host Dr. Anil K. Patri on the first Cure Panel Talk Show on Nanotechnology in Oncology this June.

Dr. Anil K. Patri is Deputy Director at Nanotechnology Characterization Laboratory (NCL) at the National Cancer Institute, Frederick. At NCL, team of scientists from multidisciplinary fields are working together to facilitate the development of nanomaterials intended for clinical use. Dr. Patri is involved in physico-chemical characterization and standardization of nanomaterials for the NCL and collaborates with scientists at National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Prior to joining NCL, he was working as Staff Scientist at Center for Biologic Nanotechnology at University of Michigan, where he developed dendrimers based nanomaterials for targeting, imaging and drug delivery applications. Dr. Patri received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from University of South Florida, M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from Aligarh Muslim University, and B.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from Osmania University, India.

Gary Petersen

Gary is the editor of and a 6 year survivor of multiple myeloma. He is now 6 years into CR post a stem cell transplant. He works with Myeloma specialists to provide life expectancy and survival rate data through his site.

Sarthak Sinha

Sarthak Sinha is a student at Henry Wise Wood High School in Calgary, Alberta. Sarthak has been working the past two years doing graduate-level research in Jeff Biernaskie’s Experimental Medicine and Stem Cell Biology lab, University of Calgary. He has represented Canada and contributed towards field of medicine in many an international competition.

Kimberly Blozie

Miss Blozie is a senior clinical research professional and entrepreneur. She was manager of clinical research at Columbia University’s Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center. Miss Blozie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry from the University of New Hampshire and a Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Management from Columbia University. She is currently working in business development at Nanotronics Imaging and is writing a science fiction trilogy.
