Meet Mrs. Gray
All about me
My name is Kambrie Gray. I am 25 years old and will start my third year of teaching 5th grade this year. I get the opportunity to teach 5th Grade Reading, Writing and Social Studies. I have been married to my husband, Tye, for 2 1/2 years. We have a son, Axel, who is 19 months old and will have a daughter, Sutton, in November of this year. I have lived in the Brock community since I myself was a 5th grader. I graduated from Brock in 2011 and attended Tarleton State University where I received my Bachelors Degree in Child and Family Studies in 2015. I love spending time with my family, playing sports, and on occasion I love to run. I have dreamt of being a teacher since I was a little girl and I feel blessed to be able to fulfill a live long dream.
Axel's First day
This was taken on Axel's first day of school this year.
For Christmas last year we took a family photo in matching Pajamas.
My Family has a cabin in Ruidoso and over our Christmas break we took a trip up to the mountains and enjoyed some family time.
Inside my Classroom
One of my biggest goals as a teacher is to create a welcoming classroom. I want my students to feel comfortable and excited to be in my class. My classroom is full of bright colors and fun decorations. I am really big on creating a "Family" type classroom environment so relationships are very important to me. We spend a lot of time in discussions about goals and dreams for the future. I love to get to know my students each year and learn all of the wonderful things about each individual child. I took some pictures of my classroom that are added down below.
