Our Week of Learning
Writing: Student's are working on their cursive handwriting as well as wrapping up the biography reports they have written about their classmates.
Science: We are continuing our study of plants and trying to get outside in between the rain to observe plant growth.
Social Studies: This week we finished up our study of Chicago in preparation for our field trip next week. Students are also working on sketching a Chicago landmark of their choosing.
Math: Students are working on a math project called "A City of Shapes." Students are required to use their knowledge of area and perimeter to design a city.

Chicago Trip
Willis Tower
If you are available the afternoon of May 23rd and would like to join us for a portion of the trip you are welcome to meet us at the Willis Tower and noon. You would be required to purchase your own ticket up to the top, but we welcome any visitors!
The reason we cannot take all chaperones is because there is not enough room on the boat, however, the Willis Tower is open to everyone. We hope to see you there!
Field Trip
Our trip is scheduled for May 23. We will be sending more information regarding the itinerary four our trip next week. Please keep an eye out in take home folders for more information. We are looking forward to a great day!
